For the second time the Daya Pertiwi Foundation (DPF) won the Energy Globe Award, this time the 2022 Award in the field of water purification in technical collaboration with Japan. A tough Award competition between 2500 projects from 180 countries. Meanwhile, the first Energy Globe Award was won in 2016 in the field of Community Forest and Water Supply.
Since 1977 DPF as one of the oldest NGOs in Indonesia has served more than 3 million people in East Java, Bali (including the islands of Nusa Penida, Papua and East Nusa Tenggara, and forestation of the critical lands of Nusa Penida Island, the southern coast of Malang and Blitar Regencies, Water in West Timor.In 1986 one of the projects, Desa Sidorejo was made a Pilot Project by the Government in Environmental Planning and Development at the Regional Level and won in the UNCRD forum to become a guide for extensionists in Third World Countries.
